ALERT: Riegel Federal Credit Union ATM removed from the Dutch Mill Market 

The Riegel FCU ATM that was located inside of the Dutch Mill Market has been removed.  It was not the Credit Union's decision to remove this ATM, it was done so at the request of the Dutch Mill Market ownership.  Please be aware that the ATM now inside of the Dutch Mill Market is NOT a Riegel Federal Credit Union ATM and you will be charged a surcharge if you use that ATM.  In order to avoid surcharges, RFCU recommends that it's members now use the new ATM that is located in the secure vestibule of the Milford Branch location and is available 24-Hours per day, 7 days per week.

The best way to guarantee accurate communication between you and Riegel FCU is to make sure your mailing address, email address and phone number on file is valid, so you can:

• Receive important documents and information sent to your home address
• Receive confirmation emails for Riegel Internet Banking (RIB)
• Get notified of important RFCU updates and changes
• Save time by getting priority information sent to you correctly the first time

Please call us at 1-800-635-6829 to let us know when you have moved or changed your phone number. When you have moved, we need you to complete a change of address card for our records.  

For online banking, you can log into RIB and in the upper right hand corner, select "My Settings".  There, you can update your profile information for RIB which will ensure you receive proper communications via email and/or text message.

With the Riegel Youth Account kids will learn the importance of saving at a young age, giving them a solid foundation for their financial future. Eligibility for this account requires children to be under the age of 16, and within Riegel’s field of membership. SCAM ALERT: Individuals impersonating a Riegel FCU employee 

The Credit Union has confirmed that there is an individual(s) calling our members and impersonating or representing themselves as a Riegel FCU employee. They claim to be calling from the Credit Union and mentioning a foreclosure on a member's loan and/or discussing loan modifications in an attempt to either gain personal information or obtain a financial payment from the member.  The Credit Union has taken internal precautions and has also alerted the authorities to help protect our members from these criminal activities.

We highly recommend that members who receive these calls DO NOT call the phone number given, and should only call a known Credit Union branch number or stop in one of our branch locations.  The Credit Union has not and is not contacting our members about any loan modifications.  Please DO NOT give out any personal information if you receive one of these calls.

UPDATED: Riegel Federal Credit Union's Coronavirus Preparedness and Adjusted Hours

We are continuing to monitor developments regarding COVID-19 and hope that you and your family remain safe during this turbulent time.  At RFCU, our focus will always be on the well-being of our members, employees, and the communities we serve.  The Credit Union will be returning to it's normal hours of operation at all branch locations beginning on Tuesday, May 25th.  Please note that the lobby in Milford will not re-open until Monday, June 1st and that all branches will have limitations to the number of members allowed inside the branch at any given time.

RFCU offers numerous ways to perform your transactions from the comfort and safety of your home without having to visit one of our branch locations.  You can always call the Credit Union and one of our friendly staff will assist you.  We have surcharge free ATM access as well as our Call-24 Audio Response System, and we also offer a very comprehensive portfolio of online products that allow you to perform transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

You are able to perform most transactions via our Riegel Internet Banking and our mobile application.  For example, you can:

Economic Impact Payments (Stimulus Checks) Information

The Credit Union has received the first batch of Economic Impact Payments via ACH that are dated for disbursal on Wednesday, April 15th to member's accounts that funds were received for.

According to the IRS, the Economic Impact Payments will be distributed automatically to most people by this week. The agency said it would launch a tracking tool called “Get My Payment” by April 17th. The tool will give people an idea on when they can expect a deposit or a check in the mail. "Millions more Economic Impact Payments will be issued via direct deposit in the weeks ahead as we issue payments to social security recipients and as other taxpayers provide banking information on the tools provided," the statement continued. "We are working to secure the fast, secure and efficient delivery of payments to veterans, disabled, and other vulnerable populations."

Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)Information

The Coronavirus (the virus that causes COVID-19) is having an unprecedented effect on the economy. Our community's small businesses are struggling to stay afloat as they’re forced to close to protect the health and safety of employees and customers. Through the recently passed Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, there are opportunities for help through U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. One of the most impactful is the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), designed to provide access to cash so that businesses can keep paying their employees and other expenses such as health insurance premiums, rent or mortgage payments and utilities. This important financial relief will help small businesses return to being fully operational quicker once conditions improve.

• Do not respond to calls or texts from unknown numbers, or any others that appear suspicious.
• Never share your personal or financial information via email, text messages, or over the phone.
• Be cautious if you’re being pressured to share any information or make a payment immediately.
• Scammers often spoof phone numbers to trick you into answering or responding.  Remember that government agencies will never call you to ask for personal information or money.
• Do not click any links in a text message. If a friend sends you a text with a suspicious link that seems out of character, call them to make sure they weren't hacked.
• Always check on a charity (for example, by calling or looking at its actual website) before donating.

Popmoney allows RFCU members the freedom to pay others electronically using only the person's mobile phone number or email address. The recipient doesn't have to be a RFCU member to receive payments.  Payments are quick and easy via RIB (Riegel Internet Banking) or via the RFCU Mobile App.*

With Funds Transfer, you can make transfers to outside institutions conveniently, 24 hours a day, right inside of RIB (Riegel Internet Banking)! So the next time you need to get money from here to there, use RFCU and RIB.*

Updating your email address in RIB

Updating your email online ensures that you receive timely and important notices from RIB (Riegel Internet Banking).  After you log into RIB and get to your account screen, there is a green tab in the upper right hand cornert email addres that says "My Settings". Simply click on that link to get to the page with your various settings listed. One of the options is "Primary Email" which lists what your currens on file is.  If this is not your correct email address, please click on "Update" and enter your correct email address so that you receive important emails pertaining to your account as well as any alerts and/or notifications you may have set up.
